Neones - Texturas Sonoras
Neones – Texturas Sonoras is a multichannel sound installation that explores sound as a material of texture, movement, and emotional resonance. The work combines everyday urban sounds, natural environments, machines, voices, and bandoneon into layered sonic fabrics that form patterns, pulses, and shifting spatial constellations.
Structured in three movements — Neones y Neutros, Tramas y Texturas, and Puntos y Pulsos — the installation investigates how sound occupies space, travels, and transforms perception. Textures function as scores: starting points for imagining sound through qualities such as weight, surface, color, and density, often inspired by woven materials and synesthetic listening.
Through dissonance, repetition, and immersive spatialisation, Neones invites the listener to enter a vibrant sonic field where familiar sounds are intensified, re-shaped, and re-experienced.
Exhibited at ODA – Oficinas de Arte, Buenos Aires.
